Write "My Garbage, My Neighborhood" in the memo line.

Donations do not have to be monetary. We always need assistance with space for screenings and fundraisers as well as professional services that can ease our expenses. If there is any way in which you would like to help out please email soumyaakapil@rocketmail.com.

Contribute your bottles and cans!
Each day we are in residence at the recycling center, we have a donation bucket available. You can take part by tossing in a few of your recyclables. (We promise to do the sorting!)

DID YOU KNOW?

The first bottle bill was passed in Vermont in 1953. However, it did not institute a deposit system. It merely banned the sale of beer in non-refillable bottles.

In 1971, Oregon passed the first bottle bill (also known as a deposit law) in the United States, requiring refundable deposits on all beer and soft drink containers.
